AMFI Registered Mutual Fund Distributor & SIF Distributor
Who we are
Investing TFD is the business name of Ashish Jain, an individual Mutual Fund Distributor registered with the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) under ARN-294841, and empanelled to distribute Specialised Investment Funds (SIFs).
- Certifications: NISM-Series-V-A (Mutual Fund Distributors) and NISM-Series-V-D (Specialized Investment Fund Distributors).
- We are not registered with SEBI as an Investment Adviser or Research Analyst, and we do not provide investment advice for a fee.
- AMFI registration does not mean AMFI or SEBI endorses our services or guarantees any returns.
- All investments through us are in the Regular Plan of a scheme. Each scheme also has a Direct Plan with no distributor commission and a lower expense ratio, which you can invest in on your own at any time.
Fund houses we are empanelled with
We distribute the mutual fund schemes and SIF strategies of the Asset Management Companies (AMCs) we are empanelled with. Empanelments change from time to time; ask us for the current list for any scheme you are considering.
All mutual funds operating in India are registered with SEBI. The full list is published by AMFI: Mutual Funds in India (AMFI).
How we are paid
- We earn a trail commission from the AMC for as long as you stay invested in a Regular Plan through us. It is part of the scheme’s total expense ratio and is not charged to you separately.
- There is no upfront commission. Rates differ between AMCs, schemes and SIF strategies.
- We will tell you the commission we receive on any scheme we discuss with you, and on competing schemes, before you invest. Your Consolidated Account Statement (CAS) also shows the commission paid on your holdings.
- We do not charge fees, accept cash, rebate commission or offer gifts to invest.
- As per SEBI regulations and AMFI guidelines, distributors are not entitled to commission on their own investments.
Conflicts of interest
- Because commission rates vary, we may earn more on some schemes than others. We disclose this to you and aim to put your interests first.
- We are not an associate or group company of any AMC.
Specialised Investment Funds (SIFs)
- SIFs are offered by mutual fund AMCs under a separate brand, can take short positions through derivatives, and generally carry higher risk than regular mutual fund schemes.
- Minimum investment is βΉ10 lakh per investor (PAN) across all SIF strategies of an AMC, except for accredited investors.
- Each strategy has a risk band set by the AMC; some are interval funds that can be bought or redeemed only on set dates. Read the strategy’s Investment Strategy Information Document (ISID) before investing.
